The LAWASIA 31st Conference 18-Hole Golf Tournament will take place on Monday 5 November 2018, after the conference concludes, at the Phokeethra Country Club.
Nestled in the countryside of Siem Reap, Cambodia’s debut international golf course boasts sweeping fairways and generous greens. The 18-hole, par-72 course threads its way through natural lakes and lagoons, offering a thorough challenge in a unique setting to both professionals and beginners alike.
With most of the holes tree lined with palm trees and a generous amount of water and bunkers to avoid, Phokeethra Country Club is renowned as the most challenging course in Cambodia. The variety of difficulty with the combination of tricky par 3s and individual par 4s and 5s creates a sense of interest and most of all enjoyment!
The course is steeped in Cambodia’s rich cultural heritage and is home to the “Roluh” Bridge that dates back to the Khmer Empire in the 11th century AD. The bridge was once the main passage from Cambodia to Siam. Today it offers guests a direct link to the glory of the Khmer empire within the luxurious club setting.
